I’m Sofie Louise Dam, a comics artist and illustrator living in Copenhagen, Denmark.

I grew up in a sleepy town north of Copenhagen, and in 2012 I moved to rural Viborg to study classical drawing and comics. I graduated with a BA in Graphic Storytelling in 2017, and have been working freelance on illustrated projects ever since, such as picture books, comics, science communication, and background design for animation.

I’m open to different challenges in visual storytelling, but I’m especially passionate about science communication, non-fiction storytelling and children’s illustration.
